Too bad the electrical generator on Engine 5994 isn’t connected to a resistance heater on the back of the 400840 plow blade. The heater would create a film of water on the plow, causing the ice to slide right off

this level of differences between high and low are way above 10' parameter i think, and if so if its happen at oceanian coral island then many of them would be under water during high tide since many of them which includes the whole island atoll of republic of Kiribati are no more than 10' from sea level.

Wow, that's a lot of fuel burned just to melt the snow. How about installing electric heating elements behind the shovel for continues melting well in service.

Wow I REALLY wasn't expecting that to take 51mins. You'd think the heat and air pressure would blast it off in 2-3mins. How is this a thing, the fuel cost to run that engine for 51mins must be insane.
